Valve has announced it is accepting applications for Dota 2 next year from cities all over the world. This is the first such case in the entire history of The International, when the company is having an open tryout locations.

To the Declaration was attached a trailer for the series Championships for Dota 2 highlights.

Valve did not indicate specific requirements for cities that are going to bid to host The 2021 International. According to COO Team Secret Matthew Bailey, the application must be submitted before 31 March this year.

Previously, Valve changed the system of the Dota 2 tournaments. The year is divided into three seasons, each consisting of six regional leagues. Now teams 2 and 3 trains will have more chance to get on The International.
